Handed in my essay for English B. I got 87.5% on my English B test. Vova and Natasha went back to Russia. I went to PJ's Pet Centre after school to buy a fish. watched TV.

Saturday September 30, 1989

Rosh Hashanah. I met up with Guy and Jordi for lunch. We hosted a big dinner at our home.

Sunday September 24, 1989

Drafted my regular season hockey pool. Nadia, Sonya, Rudolph, Vova, and Natasha came over to our place for dinner.

Thursday September 21, 1989

I got 76% on my French presentation. I quit the volleyball team. I went to granny's for dinner - Rudolph and Sonya were there.

[Note - I think I quit volleyball because I was getting benched despite the starters totally choking. Rudolph was my granny Dora's older brother who lived in Philadelphia. He was an engineer and worked many years for Honeywell. He died a short time later. His widow Sonya is still alive and in Philly.]

Wednesday September 20, 1989

We played St. George's College in volleyball and lost. Brutal! We totally choked. Vova and Natasha came over for dinner. I did homework after.

Wednesday September 13, 1989

Another volleyball tryout. Vova Levinson (my granny's brother) and his wife Natasha arrived from Russia and came with granny to our place for dinner.
