Sunday March 3, 1991

Stayed home and did homework all day. I helped mom with some chores around the house and took Pepper for a walk. Watched 60 Minutes and America's Funniest Home Videos with mom and dad.

Thursday January 24, 1991

I didn't go to school - went with mom and dad to check out the new house (137 Gypsy Roseway). I went over to Sorbs' house to type up my Gym essay. Christina and Dave ended up doing most of the work for me. I didn't get home until 11:30pm.

Sunday January 20, 1991

I studied and then watched Crimes and Misdemeanors with mom and dad.

Saturday December 29, 1990

We arrived home in the afternoon. I relaxed and caught up with folks and called friends. Just relaxed and went to bed early.

Sunday December 2, 1990

Mom and dad went down to Buffalo for some cross border shopping. I went up to Thornhill to play road hockey:

Me, Cliff, Guy, Katzin and Marc B (3) v.s.
Gary, Roger, Brian, Kevin and Newman (8).

Sunday November 25, 1990

I studied and went to Nino D'aversa with mom, dad and Gabe. Gabe left to go back to London and we went over to granny's place.

Sunday November 11, 1990

Remembrance Day. I went to the library and back to National Gym with mom and dad. Granny came over for dinner.

Wednesday October 10, 1990

Queen's University presentation. I went to Hairistocracy after school for a haircut, and then mom and I grabbed Chinese food for take-out. I ate while watching the Leafs home opener against the Quebec Nordiques. The Nords won 8-5 - Sakic had 4 points, Sundin had 3.

History test.

Law test.


I went to Farview Mall after school with mom and dad.

NHL 1990-1991 Season began.

Saturday September 22, 1990

Gabe came in for the weekend from U.W.O. We hung out as a family all afternoon and then went to see Goodfellas after dinner (I had to sneak in). Incredible!

Monday August 27, 1990

I helped mom around the house and then went to Al's place. We rented Family Business and listened to the Bruce Springsteen CDs. I had dinner with his family and then went to his baseball game at Bishop's Cross. Guy, Andrew Butters, Cliff, Fishback, George S, Guy, Milberg, Newman, Ryan, S Gotlieb, and P Tesis were all there.

Sunday August 26, 1990

We took Gabe back to London and helped him move into his new place. That night I went to Funstation and Toby's (Yonge and Finch) with Brett, Al and Brad. 

[Note - Funstation was at Jane and Finch, considered one of the roughest neighbourhoods in Toronto. If only our parents knew where their kids were hanging out!]

Tuesday August 21, 1990

I went over to Al's house. We went to Markham Place and played a bit of tennis. I went grocery shopping with mom and rented Mystic Pizza.

Sat at home all day - watching TV, playing with Pepper, helping mom with errands.

Friday July 20, 1990

I spent the day just hanging around the house - playing with Pepper, helping mom with errands, reading, etc. Jordi and Guy picked me up and we went to hang out around Yonge & Eglinton. After grabbing dinner we all went over to Brett Massey's house.  

Friday June 22, 1990

I went to visit my mom at work. Gino gave me a great haircut. Yves had a house party and then I crashed at Bri's place.

I ran a few errands with mom and then watched soccer:

Spain 0 - Uruguay 0

Sunday June 3, 1990

I studied most of the day and night. I took a small break in the afternoon to go grocery shopping with mom.

Saturday May 26, 1990

Mom's 47th Birthday. I studied for exams all day. We watched a special with Andre Phillipe Gagnon and then went to Lime Rickey's with Brad and Jordi.

Sunday May 13, 1990

Mother's Day. Gabe and I went to see Cinema Paradiso at The Madison. We had a big Mother's Day dinner at home in the evening.



[Note - Gabe and I both bawled our eyes out in that movie. The ending where he looks at footage of people kissing on film still leaves me gutted.]
