Sunday December 30, 1990

I went to see Kindergarten Cop with Al, Jordi, Guy and Brad. I watched 60 Minutes with mom and dad. 

Saturday December 29, 1990

We arrived home in the afternoon. I relaxed and caught up with folks and called friends. Just relaxed and went to bed early.

Friday December 28, 1990

We left Florida and drove home: Florida - Georgia - S. Carolina - N. Carolina - Virginia - Maryland - Pennsylvania - New York - Ontario.

Thursday December 27, 1990

We spent the entire day at the beach (last chance for a good tan). Paul, Alter and I had a massive playfight - but totally trashed the apartment. We went to Boca Raton for dinner that night.

Wednesday December 26, 1990

We spent the morning at the beach and then headed to the outlet mall. We had dinner at City Limits.

Tuesday December 25, 1990

Christmas Day! It rained most of the day so we just walked down the strip and had a shitty lunch. We stayed down there in the evening and hit a few bars. At one point Yuri and I took off on our own and checked out another bar close to where the rest of the guys were. When we headed back to reconnect with the other guys they were already outside and Gabe went nuts on me. His buddies had to break it up because Gabe was so pissed. I didn't tell him where I was going and he got freaked out by my 'disappearance'.

[Note - At the time I thought Gabe was an ass; but looking back I can appreciate the responsibility he had, and how concerned he got when I went missing. The beating my dad would have given him if I did go missing would be have been worse.]

Monday December 24, 1990

Paul, Gabe, Erez and I went down to the beach. Later on Paul and I hung lounged poolside next to our hotel and I met Joanne. We all went Go-karting and to play arcade games.

Sunday December 23, 1990

We went to the beach and hung around the hotel. In the afternoon we checked out a flea market. In the evening we went to see Russia House.

Saturday December 22, 1990

Simon and Yuri met a group of girls in the condo they are staying at (Claire, Stephanie, etc..). A big group of us went to Hollywood Beach for the day - we played touch football and swam. In the evening we drove into Miami for dinner and went clubbing there.

Friday December 21, 1990

We all went to the beach in the morning and then to the Galleria Mall in the afternoon. In the evening we went to see live Jai-alai and ordered pizza.

Thursday December 20, 1990

We went to the beach and met Jen, Wendy and Pam. That night we went for dinner with them and then all headed to The Candy Store. We all went to the boardwalk and beach later.

Wednesday December 19, 1990

We spent the day at the beach in Fort Lauderdale and then went to look for a place to stay - we got a room at the Gold Coast Beach resort Hotel. In the evening we went to a bunch of places around Hollywood Beach, got whistled at by a car full of babes and then ended up at The Candy Store ... amazing wet t-shirt contest!!

Tuesday December 18, 1990

We drove all day - from Ontario - Michigan - Ohio - Kentucky - Tennessee - Georgia -  to Florida. We did make a few stops along the way: Denny's in Michigan; Cracker Barrell in Tennessee; Dairy Queen in Georgia and Arby's in Florida. We got in late and just crashed at Simon's granny's place. 

Monday December 17, 1990

I wrote my last 2 exams: History, and Society. Right after my exam I went to Simon's place and all of us gathered there: Gabe, Yuri, Alter, Julia, Erez, and Arbus. When everyone arrived we took off in two cars to Florida. I rode with Gabe, Erez, and Arbus. Mike drove Simon, Yuri and Julia.  

Sunday December 16, 1990

I studied and packed for my Christmas vacation to Florida.

[Note - Gabe invited me to come to Florida on a road trip with his buddies from Western.]

Saturday December 15, 1990

I went to the library and studied for History and Society. I stayed in and watched St. Louis beat Toronto 4-2.

Friday December 14, 1990

I wrote the Law exam (very good). After the exam I went back to Eremita's house with D Scott and Sorbs. Later on Peter, Dan, Field, Lalor, Fred, Aubrey, Katrina, Birta, Emily, Nessa and Heather came over. We had a bunch of drinks, ordered pizza and then went skating at Nathan Phillips Square - awesome night - although painful to watch Eremita with Heather ... she is so ridiculously hot.

Thursday December 13, 1990

I wrote the Math exam (think I did OK). I had veal at school and then studied for the Law exam. I took a 30 minute break to watch Cheers.

Wednesday December 12, 1990

The start of Hanukkah. I wrote the English A exam. I studied for the Math exam. Gabe and I chatted on the phone for a bit. Caught a period of Toronto 4 Montreal 1.

Tuesday December 11, 1990

I had 2 mid-term exams. In the morning I wrote the Physics exam (not good). After a panzerotti lunch, I wrote the English B exam (not bad). Then I went home and studied for the English A exam.

Monday December 10, 1990

I studied all day for my Physics exam. In the evening I took a break to watch the Nordiques beat the Canucks 3-2 in OT.  Joe Sakic scored the winner.

Sunday December 9, 1990

I studied for exams. Took a break to play road hockey:

Ariel, Brad, Brett, Milberg & Brian v.
Roger, Josh K, Adam, Al, Katzin

Bri and Jeff got into a little scrap.

Saturday December 8, 1990

I studied for exams. Jordi, Guy, Al and I went over to Newman's house for a bit (his dad was out of town). Then we went to Lime Rickey's and ran into Melanie and Anna.

Friday December 7, 1990

Last day of the first semester (actually a half day). We had a great basketball game in Phys-Ed class. I got 3 baskets. I spent the afternoon studying for the Physics exam.

Thursday December 6, 1990

I got 90% on my English A folder and 87% on the Law test. We watched Mississippi Burning in our Society class. I studied for the Physics exam.

Wednesday December 5, 1990

Skipped school because of the snowstorm. Took the TTC home and then shovelled the driveway. I worked on my Law project and planned my exam study schedule. Watched Minnesota beat Toronto 3-2.

Tuesday December 4, 1990

I got 95% on my Physics test and 80% on my Math test. JJ's karate instructor, Alex, came to Crescent and did a demonstration in our Phys-Ed class. We read Rob Chan's story in English B.

Monday December 3, 1990

We had a couple of parole officers come to our Law class. In English A class we watched and discussed The Simpsons. There was a major snow storm so I walked over to JJs place and ended up sleeping over there. J Diament and Horowitz came over there and we hackey sacked and played cards.

Sunday December 2, 1990

Mom and dad went down to Buffalo for some cross border shopping. I went up to Thornhill to play road hockey:

Me, Cliff, Guy, Katzin and Marc B (3) v.s.
Gary, Roger, Brian, Kevin and Newman (8).

Saturday December 1, 1990

I spent the afternoon doing homework. After dinner JJ and I went to Crescent to watch the school performance of Our Town. After the play we headed to the cast party with everyone - Sorbs, Tyler, Gleed, Serge, Myles, Sevag, Rich, Wolfson, etc.
