Thursday September 27, 1990

We had no History class (spare). I went to the library to work on my short story. We played floor hockey again after school. I did homework and watched Cheers and The Simpsons.

Society test. Balogna for lunch. Went to computer club. Worked on my short story. Watched TV.

Tuesday September 25, 1990

Physics test. We played volleyball in Phys-Ed class. Had a crappy meat pie lunch. Played floor hockey after school in Highland Hall. Did homework and watched TV.

Monday September 24, 1990

We had chicken for lunch. In English class we watched the most bizarre movie about toads brought to Australia and how they end up reeking havoc. It was called Cane Toads: An Unnatural History. After dinner I just did homework and went to bed early.

I watched football and did homework. Gabe went back to London.

Saturday September 22, 1990

Gabe came in for the weekend from U.W.O. We hung out as a family all afternoon and then went to see Goodfellas after dinner (I had to sneak in). Incredible!

Friday September 21, 1990

Math test. I went to a dance at Crescent but I brought Al and Brian and they wouldn't allow them in, so we left and went to Lime Rickey's.We saw a bunch of people there: Gary Don, Josh K, Milberg, Belinda, Lainie, Krista B, and Danielle.

Thursday September 20, 1990

Rosh Hashanah. I still went to school. We had a nice dinner and then I watched Cheers and The Simpsons.

Wednesday September 19, 1990

Baloney sandwiches for lunch - nasty. The Wednesday system commenced (clubs or athletics on Wednesday afternoons). I joined the Computer Club. I did homework and watched a bit of the Nordiques game - their rookie (#1 draft overall) Mats Sundin got 4 assists.

Tuesday September 18, 1990

I came 3rd in the NFL Pool - $5! I got 80% on my Physics lab. Hot dogs for lunch. I did homework and went to bed early.

Monday September 17, 1990

We had a great school assembly in the morning. I got my first grade of the year - an 88% in Math. I had my 6th and last driving class.

Sunday September 16, 1990

I did homework and watched football during the day. We went over to Tzippy's house in the evening to celebrate her 17th birthday (which was on the 13th).

Saturday September 15, 1990

Mark, Brian and I went down to the Eaton's Centre. I had dinner at Lime Rickey's with Al, and then we went over to Brett's house. He had Brian, Tracy and Amy over there. 

Friday September 14, 1990

Al had his driving test and passed. I went to see Pump Up The Volume at the Promenade with Brett, Brian and Al. We then ran into Brad, Jordi, Sesel, Guy and Brett Massey. Great flick!

Chili for lunch. Driving class #5.

Teachers already hammering us with work. I watched Wonder Years and did homework.

We played volleyball in Gym class. I had my 4th driving class.

We had Chinese food for lunch. I had my 3rd driving class and got to know more people in the class:

I went to Al's house to watch NFL and eat Pizza Pizza, with Guy and Jordi.Tyler won the weekly football pool.

Saturday September 8, 1990

I went to visit granny in the hospital. I went over to Brian's house and hung out with him, Brett, Al, Amy R., and Sabrina. Amy is clearly into Brett. Al is clearly into Amy.

Friday September 7, 1990

We played a great game of baseball at school. In the evening Al, Brett, Brian, Josh K, Amy R, Tracy, Elise, Shira and I went to see Taking Care of Business at Town & Country.

Thursday September 6, 1990

Grade 11 began. We had spaghetti for lunch. I had driving class after school. I sat with Rachel S.

Wednesday September 5, 1990

Orientation Day at Crescent. I went to see granny in the hospital after. I watched U.S. Open - Lendl lost to Sampras!

Tuesday September 4, 1990

Thornlea started. Crescent - no school yet. I watched U.S. Open tennis. I started my driving classes. Ginsberg, Lara, Nicole and Rachel S in my class. 

[I basically fell madly in love with Rachel S in that first night of class.]

Monday September 3, 1990

Labour Day. I watched a bunch of U.S. Open tennis. We went to visit granny in Branson Hospital and then Gabe left for London. I went to the C.N.E. with Guy, Jordi, Al, and Mark.

Sunday September 2, 1990

Granny did not feel well and was taken to the hospital. Gabe came home from a trip to New York. I went to the JCC with Jordi and then we went to Lime Rickey's for dinner with Guy, Al and Mark. Tammy was there!

[Note - I always maintained a crush on Tammy. She was really my first love.]

Saturday September 1, 1990

Jordi, Al, Brett, Brian and I went over to Amy R's house. Tracy, Elise and Ronit were over there.

[Note - these were a bunch of girls I met through Brian and Brett, who knew them from camp.]

Friday August 31, 1990

Brad, Guy, Al and I went downtown and walked from Yonge and Bloor to the Eaton's Centre. We then met up with Jordi at Toby's Good Eats (St. Clair) for dinner. I slept over at Al's house.
