Sunday July 29, 1990

Guy and I spent the entire day and night at Canada's Wonderland. We rode the Jet Scream (newest ride) and a bunch of other stuff. We also spent the day chatting up a bunch of girls.

Saturday July 28, 1990

I worked from 10-2pm. Gary Don had a huge party at his place: Guy, Buntman, Roger, Rubinoff, Rebecca L, Michelle W, Lisa S, Lindsay F, Ilan, etc.

Friday July 27, 1990

Sat at home all day - watching TV, playing with Pepper, helping mom with errands.

Thursday July 26, 1990

I played tennis with Cherry at The Valley in the morning and then went to Brad's house to swim.

Wednesday July 25, 1990

I hung out at Guy's place playing Nintendo (NES). Then we went to Lime Rickey's with Jordi.

Tuesday July 24, 1990

I went downtown with JJ and Horowitz. I saw Days of Thunder with Guy and Buntman. We headed to Bishop's Cross after to meet up with some people and catch the end of the Thornhill Rep baseball game.

Monday July 23, 1990

I went to Day 1 of the Player's Open at York University with Brad. We watched several matches, including Richey Reneberg over Gilad Bloom 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 and homeboy Andrew Sznajder over Kevin Curren 7-5, 6-7, 6-4. We saw Rachel D there. After dinner Gabe, Ari and I went to the JCC and played tennis.

Sunday July 22, 1990

I stayed home and watched TV, kicked around the house all day.

Saturday July 21, 1990

Gabe, Dad and I went to the JCC to play some tennis. I went fr a quick swim after. Brad, Al and I went to Olive Garden for dinner together.

Friday July 20, 1990

I spent the day just hanging around the house - playing with Pepper, helping mom with errands, reading, etc. Jordi and Guy picked me up and we went to hang out around Yonge & Eglinton. After grabbing dinner we all went over to Brett Massey's house.  

Thursday July 19, 1990

I spent the day swimming at Brad's house. Pay Day. I worked from 5-10pm.

Wednesday July 18, 1990

Jordi, Guy, Newman and I went to Pickle Barrel. We then headed over to Bowlerama for a few rounds.

Tuesday July 17, 1990

Jordi and I went to JJ's house. Horowitz came over and we ended up playing poker.

Monday July 16, 1990

I watched Rain Man and then went to work from 5-10pm.

Sunday July 15, 1990

Camp Northland visitor day. I rented Black Rain and Loverboy.

[Note: several of my close friends, including Brett and Brian, attended Camp Northland.] 

Saturday July 14, 1990

I worked from 1-7pm. Mark, Newman, Guy, Cliff and I went to Chuck E. Cheese and then I slept over at Guy's house.

Friday July 13, 1990

Friday the 13th!!! Brad, Ryan and I went to Chocky's and then back to their place to swim. A big group of us (Guy, Kevin, Ryan, Jared, Brad, Buntman and Mark) played Manhunt in Cakebread Park 'forest'.

[Note: playing Manhunt in the forest was one of my favourite parts of childhood. We used to play it and capture the flag a lot a few years earlier.]

Thursday July 12, 1990

I went to Yorkdale and returned my watch.
I worked from 5-10pm.

Wednesday July 11, 1990

I spent the day hanging out with JJ and Horowitz. We played basketball, made brownies, and went swimming. I went to see The Adventures of Ford Fairlane at The Madison with Mark, Al and Guy.  

Tuesday July 10, 1990

Mark, Al and I went back to Sunshine Beach (aka Wild Water Kingdom). We also stopped at Pizza Hut for dinner on the way home again.

Monday July 9, 1990

I went shopping with Mark at The Promenade. Al eventually met us there and we saw Die Hard 2 (Die Harder).

Sunday July 8, 1990

I worked from 12-5pm. Massive day in sports. West Germany won the World Cup 1-0 over Argentina. It got decided on a stupid penalty kick. Also, Stefan Edberg defeated Boris Becker in a dramatic 5 setter to win Wimbledon. Guy, Mark and I went to Studio 81 late night.

Saturday July 7, 1990

I worked from 1-7pm. After work I met up with Guy, Mark, and Jordi and Lime Rickey's. We saw Levine, Fisch, T Diamond, Yves, J Rich, Maxine, Lisa S, Michelle W, Lindsey F, Milberg, Newman and Gary Don.

Friday July 6, 1990

Brad and I went to Golden Griddle for breakfast and then just swam and hung out at his place. I stayed in at night and watched The Simpsons.

Thursday July 5, 1990

Jordi and I went swimming at Brad's house. We had a BBQ for dinner and Guy, Sesel, Buntman, Roger, and Gary Don all came over there. I slept over.

Wednesday July 4, 1990

Al and I went over to Brad's place to swim. We went to grab subs for lunch at Thornhill Square. That night Al, Jordi, Mark and I went to Yuk Yuk's. Hilarious!

Tuesday July 3, 1990

Gabe and I watched am amazing semi-final match between Argentina and Italy. Argentina won 4-3 in Penalty Kicks (Maradona winning goal). Then Gabe and I went to the JCC and played squash and swam.

Monday July 2, 1990

Mark, Guy, Al, and I went to Wild Water Kingdom. Mark drove. We saw a guy putting a Coke bottle inside his girlfriend poolside ... freaky. We stopped at Pizza Hut for dinner on the way home.

Sunday July 1, 1990

Canada Day! I watched some brilliant soccer:

England 3 - Cameroon 2 - Gary Lineker scored on 2 penalty kicks in extra time. Cameroon outplayed them overall.

West Germany 1 - Czechoslovakia 0 - Lothar Matthäus scored on a penalty kick.

Guy, Mark and I went to Video Invasion and Studio 81. After playing pool and video games we picked up Jordi and went to McDonald's.
