Tuesday March 29, 1988
I got 9/10 on my advertising poster. Played soccer at lunch. Started geography and got a detention with Ms. Milly Genrich. Then had to meet with Ms. Murray-Rob - the vice-principal - as well. I listened to Quebec get knocked out of a playoff spot by losing 3-1 to Buffalo. I can't remember 100%, but there is a good chance I wept. Hockey playoff pool set for Sunday April 3rd.

Monday March 28, 1988
Parent's 21st wedding anniversary. Did a play on advertising ... interesting ... no recollection of what this was about. Played baseball at lunch. Grandma phoned from NYC. Gabe and I played chess and then went to the Promenade to see Dominick and Eugene. I remember bawling and thinking that was the best movie I had ever seen at the time. Rain Man is a weaker imitator that got all the glory.

Spent the entire day at Mayfair Club playing tennis with Gary, Brian and Brett. Prepared for the hockey playoff pool. (What, you thought I was just "winging it" all those years?). I watched Calgary clinch the division title by beating the Canucks 6-1. That was the team with Joe Mullen, Doug Gilmour and an all time fav, Hakan Loob. They actually went on to win the President's Trophy and the Cup. With the Olympics, a pretty amazing year to be a Calgarian.

Played chess with Gabe.
