Jordi came back from camp. Marc and Steve came over for a bit. Went back to the Promenade w/Mom.

Wednesday July 29, 1987

I got a postcard from Hart (in Chicago). Went for lunch at Kiva's with mom. Rented Terminator w/Marc & Steve. Early evening I went to the Promenade with Gabe.

Tuesday July 28, 1987

I went for lunch at Pizza Pizza w/Marc Epstein and Steve. Then we went swimming at Marc's place. Later on we went to Lime Rickey's. Finished my book.

Monday July 27, 1987

I got a letter from Jordi. I spent the day at Marc Epstein's playing with the computer. We found 3 baby rabbits in the park Rockford Park.

Sunday July 26, 1987

Mom, dad & I spent the day on John's boat. Dad slipped and broke the fishing pole which created a lot of tension between him and my mom. Gabe came home after weekend away.

Saturday July 25, 1987

Watched TV and read book. Went to the Zarvinsky's house for dinner - the Fishman's were also there.

Friday July 24, 1987

We got a new backsplash in the kitchen. Went to the JCC with Kamin. Watched Broadway Danny Rose and Cobra.

Thursday July 23, 1987

I went to dad's club w/him - swam and sat in the sauna. We did work on our kitchen. Went to Yorkdale Mall with mom and dad. Olivier came over to our place for dinner.

Wednesday July 22, 1987

Cherry and I went to see Summer School - that was when Kirstie Alley was actually hot! Gabe and I swam next door at the Epstein's place. Relaxed at home and watched TV.

Tuesday July 21, 1987

Rented Raw Deal. John, Gintara and their new baby came over for dinner. Gabe got his first paycheque for his sales job.

Monday July 20, 1987

I went to the JCC (Bathurst & Sheppard) with Brad & Ryan, and Andrew Cherry. Basically this is where all the guys that didn't go to sleepover camp would pretty much go to swim, play tennis, bball, etc.

Gabe's French buddy Olivier came over. I hung out at Bathurst & Steeles plaza.

Sunday July 19, 1987

Had a big brunch at our place in the backyard w/Leah, Izzy, Danny, Jody, Dora A, Manya, Dolik, Sharon, Tzippy, and Luba. Grandparents came for brunch too. Watched Married With Children.

Saturday July 18

Stayed home all day and watched TV and read MAD magazines. Played mini-hockey in the basement. Scary, but I would actually have fake games with commentators and then write down the stats from the game. Peter Stastny was the leading scorer in the league. The 5 Shenstone basement league.

Friday July 17, 1987

Went to Markville mall and saw Beverly Hills Cop 2 w/Kamin. Watched Bananas w/parents that night.

Thursday July 16, 1987

I went to Bayview Village to see Beverly Hills Cop 2, but I was late, so we didn't see it. Kamin was pissed! Ended up renting Best of Times. Hart left for Florida.

Wednesday July 15, 1987

JCC membership expired. Went downtown with Hart. We had buffalo chips @ Mr. Green Jeans & saw The Squeeze @ Eaton's Center.

Tuesday July 14, 1987

Hart & I went for lunch then Bowling at Newtonbrook. Watched the baseball All-Star game.

Monday July 13, 1987

Went over to Hart's place. We watched Manhunter. Sent Jordi his letter. Dad and I went to see Dragnet.

Sunday July 12, 1987

Helped around the house by raking the backyard. Steve and I went swimming at Marc's place. Went to Mac's Milk and just hung around the neighborhood with those guys.

Saturday July 11, 1987

Kamin & I the Toronto Blue Jays 1 vs. Kansas City Royals 2 at Exhibition Stadium. After the game we went to Ontario Place and spent the day on the waterslides.

Friday July 10, 1987

Hart's Birthday. Hart & Kamin came over to watch Lucas and Band of the Hand. Laura and Dodik came over for dinner.

Thursday July 9, 1987

Kamin, Hart & I went to the YMCA at Bayview & Sheppard - swam, played basketball and tennis. Watched TV.

Wednesday July 8, 1987

Wrote a letter to Jordan at camp. Helped mom around the house. Watched TV.

Tuesday July 7, 1987

Hart and I went to Mayfair Parkway to play tennis. That night I went to Marc Epstein's with Steven to play video games on his computer.

Monday July 6, 1987

Hart & I went to Bayview Village and saw Spaceballs. We grabbed some MDonald's for dinner and watched TV at my house after.

Sunday July 5, 1987

Cash defeated Lendl to win Wimbledon. Went swimming next door @ Epstein's. Watched Annie Hall.

Saturday July 4, 1987

Did some work in the yard with mom. Went to Canada's Wonderland with Kamin and Mark Owen. Went on: zoomba flume/ skyrider/ wildabeast/ mind buster/ dragon flyer/ white water canyon. Dad picked us up - he shaved his head. Navratilova beat Graf in Wimbledon Women's Final.

Friday July 3, 1987

Watched Wimbledon semis: Lendl over Edberg / Cash over Connors. Jordi left for sleepover camp (Camp Ahmek). Had lunch at Kiva's. Gabe sold his first vacuum (new summer sales job). Dolik & Manya came over for dinner.

Thursday July 2, 1987

Grandparents came over to the house. Got a haircut. Watched tennis on TV.

Wednesday July 1, 1987

Hart's mom's birthday. Hart came over - we watched To Live and Die in L.A. Went to McDonald's for lunch. Wilander beaten by Cash in quarter finals, ruining his chance at all 4 Grand Slams in a calendar year.

Tuesday June 30, 1987

Hart & I saw Witches of Eastwick at Town & Country. We ran into Ron and Poster there. That night I went to the movies at Yorkdale with mom & dad (I went to see Benji The Hunted).
