Sunday February 25, 1990

I stayed in and did homework (worked on an essay). I also organized my hockey cards ... creating a database (list) of my set and a list of cards I want.

Saturday February 24, 1990

Buntman, Brad and I all hung out at Jordi's house, then we grabbed Guy and went to McDonald's for lunch. Spent the day in Thornhill and then went to Lime Rickey's for dinner with Guy and Jordi. Slept over at Jord's place.

Friday February 23, 1990

English A test and Science Lab. I went to Jordi's hockey game and then him, Guy, Buntman, and I went to Burger King.

Thursday February 22, 1990

I had a written test about basketball in Phys-Ed class; Also wrote an Accounting test and had an oral French test. Played a short game of ball hockey (no points). Meatballs for lunch.

Wednesday February 21, 1990

I got 42/44 on my French test. Played ping-pong. Studied. I watched the 32nd Annual Grammy Awards. The year of Bonnie Raitt. Paul McCartney got a lifetime achievement award.



[Note: This was the only Grammy ceremony that involved an award ultimately being revoked. The award for Best New Artist was awarded to Milli Vanilli. On November 12, 1990 it was announced that they did not perform on their record. As a result the award was revoked a few days later.]

Tuesday February 20, 1990

I wrote a Math test. Presented my book review in English. Played hockey after school in Highland Hall (1 goal, 6 assists).

Monday February 19, 1990

We had a school assembly in the morning. Stew for lunch. I wrote a History test in the afternoon. I rented Oliver Stone's Talk Radio that night.

Sunday February 18, 1990

Gabe and I went to North York public Library to do work. We ran int Tzippy at the library. Did homework and watched TV after dinner.

Saturday February 17, 1990

Cliff, Ryan and I went to the Westin Harbour Castle to meet the New Jersey Devils. Meeting Viacheslav Fetisov was pretty awesome! We then went back to Cliff's place and watched the game. The Leafs won 5-4.

Friday February 16, 1990

We went on a school ski trip to Lakeridge. Gabe came into town for the weekend. Watched TV. I took Pepper for a long walk in the snow and then went to bed fairly early.

Thursday February 15, 1990

Played floor hockey in the morning. I got 3 goals and 5 assists. Franks and beans for lunch. I shoveled the driveway after school. Did homework and watched a bit of TV.

Wednesday February 14, 1990

Valentine's Day. Granny's 74th birthday. I called granny. During Computer Club I typed up a price list for mom's business. I watched Leafs 6 Whalers 6.

Tuesday February 13, 1990

Mid-term Break over - back to school. I got the following results:

English B Test 14.5/20
English B Quiz 4/5
English A Essay 8.5/10
English A Essay 7.5/10

Spaghetti for lunch. We played floor hockey after school. I got 2 goals and 4 assists. I did homework and watched Flames 5 Islanders 2.

Monday February 12, 1990

Lincoln's Birthday holiday in the U.S. We had the day off school. I went to the L.A. Kings hockey practice, and went to the Sheraton Hotel before and waited for Gretzky in the lobby. He signed my LA Kings poster.

Sunday February 11, 1990

I sat at home and watched TV all day. I watched the Flames beat the Rangers 5-2. Then I watched the NBA All-Star game. The East beat the West 130-113. Magic Johnson was the MVP.

Saturday February 10, 1990

Jordi and I went to a bunch of hockey card stores downtown. Buntman, Guy, Sesel, Brad, Jordi and I went to see Hard To Kill at Town & Country. We then stopped by Lime Rickey's.

Friday February 9, 1990

No school! Slept in. Did homework. I went to Guy and Jordi's hockey game with Buntman, then all of us went to hang out at Golden Star. I slept over at Jordi's place.

Thursday February 8, 1990

Last day before mid-term break. Grub day. I picked up my new baggy GAP jeans (that were being altered). We played basketball in gym class. I went to Brian's house after school.

Wednesday February 7, 1990

Egg salad for lunch. We played basketball after school. Watched Leafs 7 Blues 1.

Tuesday February 6, 1990

I had 2 tests: English B and Science. I finished writing my essay for History class. I got 84.6% on my Math mid-term exam. Chili for lunch. We played floor hockey in gym and I got 4 goals and 7 assists. Watched TV.

Monday February 5, 1990

I got 9/15 on my Accounting test. Played basketball at lunch. I went to buy hockey cards after school. Did homework. Watched TV.

Sunday February 4, 1990

I went to North York Public Library to work on my essay all day. The essay is about the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Watched TV. I chatted on the phone with Gabe for a while. He is loving Saugeen!

Saturday February 3, 1990

Granny went to California on vacation. Brian and I went downtown to the Hilton Hotel to meet the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins, including Mario Lemieux. I went to Town & Country in the evening to see a movie with Buntman.

Friday February 2, 1990

We had fish for lunch. I got an 8/10 on my essay for English A. We had a Math test. I went for a haircut at Peter's after school. Watched the Leafs lose 5-2 to the Red Wings.

Thursday February 1, 1990

I had 2 tests: History and Accounting. We played basketball in gym and then kept playing after lunch. I watched TV and did homework.
